Are Philips t.vs good?

I have 2 t.vs that I have been looking at a 700$ 26in Philips and a 1000$ 32in Samsung. Im not sure which to get. what one is more reliable. And what one has a better picture.

philips tv are very good i think better than samsung.i would definetly go for the philips.

yes there some of the best kind that and sony anything japanese made will last you a long time i have a phillips tv that i had for 20 years its still going strong lol

Philips.Forget about "prestige", it does not mean that it is cheaper than Samsung that it's not more reliable. Maybe you're just worried how to tell friends how much you paid for it.
