Pros: sound, stays on when engaged in physical activityCons: uncomfortable after long wearing time"Overall these are a good set of headphones when one considers the price you are paying. The spec's of these are better then the Sony - street style mdrg42lp headphones---namely, the frequency response. Philips frequency response is 12 - 22,000 Hz (source:

These are generally comfortable to wear but but after long and I mean long periods of use I find them to bother my ears where he clips are resting (one caveat...I wear glasses maybe this contributes to the soreness?) I have used many headphones Sony and others in this price range for some time and I find Philips to put out a better product at this price point in terms of sound quality. The best part of these is that they stay on during physical activity. I had used the Philips Virtual surround sound ear buds...they had superior sound quality when compared with other earbuds of similar price range but the left side (primarily) and sometimes the right side fell out of my ears -- my point is that my experience with the Philips earbuds made me want to buy another Philips product.I would recommend these to friends and/or family."
