i am looking for headphones/earphones (i usually use earphones, but are headphones better?) from either sony, philips, or skullcandy. i'd like to know which has a better sound system and are not cumbersome to handle...please help!

philips headphons and earphones are crappy and the only work for about a year because the break esaly. i herd skullycandy headphons were good but i'd reccomend sony because its the orignal.
