Default My Philips tv won't turn on. How can I fix it? Help? Blown fuse possibly?

It's a Philips tv, only a few yrs old with an HDTV monitor. I don't know the model but it is one of those HUGE screen tvs, not a flatscreen though.Ok so it was working fine and I turned it off then tried to switch it back on about an hour later but nothing happens. No blinking lights, no sounds, nothing. Everything is plugged in and I tried the remotes and tried switching it on from the power button on the tv itself. Any ideas of what could be wrong with it? I was told it might be a blown fuse. How can I check that? I'm pretty clueless about things like this and don't really have anyone around to help me right now... so I need step by step instructions! Thanks!Oh and btw all of the plugs (the tv, the dvd player, surround sound system...) are plugged into one of those extension plug things and the power light on that is still on.

Hammer and duct tapeFixes everythingBut in all seriousness, if you don't know much about this kind of stuff I'd say it's probably a service issue. Is it still in warranty? If so, don't bother screwing about with it, and just call in the service guys.
