philips plasma 37pf9946/12intermitant fault.sound but no picture.told to change

capacitors.any ideas? leads seem ok.no obvious faults.just no picture but have sound.was fine for couple of days.comes on eventually.but still does revert to no picture but have sound

Capacitors act like batteries, it is a shame yours seem to have failed on such a new TV. I would have Phillip repair it - it may be cheaper in the long run.
