My Philips MP3 player won't turn on!?

I'm using a Philips GoGear Flash Audio Player SA2115/97. It just won't turn on! I tried formatting the player but my com said that the disk is write protected. So I when to the Philips website to download the Device Manager for my model. That stupid Device manager cannot recognise my player. PLEASE HELP!

when my ipod wouldn't respond i tried the restart feature, pressing certain buttons and holding it for like five seconds. maybe your player has something like that
