Default My PHILIPS PC has died, yet PHILIPS deny having ever made PCs. What am I

supposed to do now?!? My PC, made my PHILIPS, will not start. Vista will not boot. I get a system error saying "Disk read error has occured. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to restart." I restart, and the same thing happens. I can access the system recovery things if I put the backup disk in and switch on the PC, but all the options on there don't work either. In other words, I need assistance. I need to send this thing off for repair or something. But PHILIPS deny having ever manufactured a PC or laptop. What kind of ****ed up crack have they been smoking? I'm sat here, with a bit fat brick infront of me that says PHILIPS clearly on the front of it. Ugh! Would an idependant PC repair company be able to deal with this?

Need a minor update so are you saying you ran chkdsk /f from the recovery consol or did you try the ASR Automated system recovery? You could try this solution provide by microsoft the following link has better detail on use.http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/perform-system-restore-rollback-on-non-bootable-xp-computer/
