Default Philips / Avent room & water thermometer?

Does anyone else have this? It's the one shaped like a flower that floats in the water but also can sit out in the room to measure the room temperature. I'm convinced that it's not very accurate -- reading much hotter than it really is. I may go and buy a second thermometer to be able to judge it but thought I'd see if anyone else has the same experience. The ideal room temp for a baby is 19, and all day it's been 20 - 21 in the house and my husband and I are freezing. My NHS blanket guideline says that in 20 degrees baby should wear a vest and sleepsuit and one blanket but baby has on a vest, t-shirt, overalls and is double swaddled and he's still a bit cold.

i got one of these maybe not the same but it was really expensive and it always goes red and says that the room is too hot for the baby if you ask me they dont work at all it is winter now and it was saying dangerous for baby to sleep in they are a waste of money you will know if you need to undress your baby or use less blankets because he needs no more than you do and if its cold you know what to do anyway just keep him warm so dont let the thermometer worry you .
