How do i transfer music onto my philips PSS(portable sound system)??

when i transfer music onto my player using musicmatch..i cannot play the songs on the player.. it shows 0 files>. why is this happening? Can someone please please just write simple steps on how to trasfer new songs to the player and then disconnect it safely.. please..i tried for like 10-15 times still its not working.. THanks
