Default Philips webcam - not working on yahoo messanger.?

I bought a Philips webcam, here's the link:http://www.consumer.philips.com/cons...7_US_CONSUMERI took it out of the box, read the 3 page paper that came with it, plugged it in, my windows XP noticed it, and then told me my cam driver was installed and ready for use.I can go to "my computer" and click the "usb video device" it comes up and shows my cam working fine with great picture.I go to yahoo messanger, click on "messanger" then "my webcam" a box shows up and asks "select a video device" I click the "usb video device" and click ok, then and error comes up "the webcam is not connected". I have gone to my web cam prefs and selected "Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32), Version: 5.1.2600.2180" and still the same error.I have unistalled and reinstalled the driver.I have restarted my computer.I have restarted yahoo.I have shut down my fire wall.I can't make an exeception for this because it's on a usb and wont let me select it...I have visited:http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mes...cam-03.htmland get the same error.I've tried downloading the driver on philips website but it says its corupted every time.Anyone have any ideas?I have done both of the first two answers, thanks.

Make sure you have the correct camera source chosen for messenger .Click Messenger and select "My Webcam."Click Messenger again, and now select Preferences.Click Webcam. At the top, click Camera Source. From the pull-down menu, select the camera you want to use.Click OK.
