According to my manual, RCA tv codes start with "1"

1) Turn on the device to be controlled

2) Press and hold the CODE SEARCH feature button until the red indicator remains on, then release CODE SEARCH button

3) Press and quickly release the desired mode button (TV, VCR, etc). The red indicator light blinks off once.

4) Press and release the numeric button corresponding to desired manufacturer brand. The red indicator light blinks off once.

5) Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly until the device to be controlled changes channel.

6) Press and release MUTE to install the code.

Also try this...

1. Press and hold setup button till red light stays on.

2. press and release what device you want to control.

3.Hit power button( might take up to 30 times) untill the device shuts off.

4.after it shuts off, press enter.

This works on most brands of universal remotes.

note: device you want to control needs to be on.

Hope this helps.
