How do I download/transfer videos to philips gogear 8g?

I just bought a Philips GoGear mp3 player and I'm supposed to be able to download videos to it but I can't figure out how. It came with software but the software isn't converting what I want. Supposedly I can also download files right off of YouTube or something and put them on the mp3 player, but this I don't know how to do either. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Well at least for getting videos from youtube you need to download youtube robot. Using Windows Media Player works well for syncing videos on mp3 players.
