Default Philips HDMI cable Problem? No sound.?
I just bought a Philips 3ft gold plated cable to connect my dvd player to my HD tv and it won't play with sound. I know there isn't anything wrong with my player because it worked fine with other Audio Video cables. Is this cable only compatible with certain brands of TVs and players?

go into the menu you probably have to turn on the audio out to the HDMI
