I formatted my usb harddive in error, since then it kept disconnecting after a few minutes, after a restart my computer now just beeps like its found it then beeps to disconnect never showing the harddrive as found??!















please could someone help me im really stuck!

im using it on my laptop, i have tried all the ports,plus the harddrive comes with 2 headed usb for power shortages.















it worked fine until it was formatted

Try using a different USB port.

Probably theres not enough power in the usb port because you have other things plugged into the others leeching the power, unplug as many usb devices your not using like webcams or microphones ect
