Urgent! Philips Computer Monitor; No Video Input?
When I turned my little brothers computer on today the monitor didn't turn on, instead there was an attention box floating around the screen with 'No Video Input'. I checked the Philips Monitor manual and it says to do these three things:
-Make sure the monitor cable is properly connected to your computer. (Also refer to the Quick Set-Up Guide)
-Check to see if the monitor cable has bent
pins.
-Make sure the computer is turned on.
These didn't work, so I tried another monitor, there was nothing, just a blank screen. Also my mouse isn't working. another website suggested to check the video card, could this be a contributing factor? If so how do I do it?
P.s. The computer was working fine before we went to bed, everything was turned off properly and it was running perfectly.
