how to view a picture message on a samsung e900?

Help! When someone sends me a picture message it bleeps like an ordinary message but then says "blah blah blah, you cant view this" its so frustrating!!!!!! if anyone can help me it would be greatly apreciated!

Are you using a network that the phone was originally sold with or have you changed network? I have the same problem with my walkman sony ericsson. Mine was originally on vodafone but I had it unlocked and am now on O2. Now I cant get mms either and have to view them online. Its something to do with the phone settings but I'm blowed if I can sort it out. I've asked O2 to send me the settings and I did install them but still no joy. Good luck with this one. I'll be interested in others' answers.
