Default Does my Sharp Aquos LC32BT8EA TV have built in FREEVIEW - if so how do I use it...

...please? Hi there - please can anyone tell me does my Sharp Aquos LC32BT8EA TV have built in FREEVIEW - if so how do I use it please? I have looked in the instructions but it dosn't say anything about freeview, but I'm sure that when I bought it, in the Argos catalogue is said it had it. We dont have digital in my area yet but i have hooked the external ariel up to the tv. It makes the terrrestrial tv channels a lot better when I plug in the ariel but they are still unwatchable so at the minute we watch everything though Cable. However we are getting rid of cable soon so I need to work out how to use Freeview before then - CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE x x

Yes it does have Freeview but if you don't have Digital TV in your area yet, you won't be getting a freeview signal yet either as they are, essentially, one and the same. Once the digital signal reaches your area, you'll have to perform an 'Auto-tune' on your TV which will find and store the extra channels.I would keep cable or Sky until then.

Yes it is a Freeview television. But you need a digital servicein your area for that to work.Follow the link below to see when you'll get digital television in your area. There are links on the right hand side of the BBC page which provide other information for you. When a digital signal is available in your area you just switch the set to Digital and use the tuner as normal. The set's instruction book should help you.
