I have a 66GS-62H tv that has just started to fault.the picture goes off as well as the sound,sometimes it will come back on straight away sometimes i have to turn it off and on again.the red on button is always on,and the stereo light on the front flashes four times then pauses and flashes four more times then pauses and so on, any help would be appreciated

Sharp Tv engineers must be in short supply as I have been waiting for one to answer, still I have fixed plenty Sharp Tvs and I am fairly sharp so here is my answer . From the description supplied it is likely that you have dry soldered joints poss in the line amp section of the set , you may be able to confirm that by giving the set a sharp slap on the side and see if that makes the fault come and go. Of course if you can not solder you will have to go to your local TV repair shop and ask for an estimate . Cheers Pete
