Appendicitis is usually accompanied by vomiting and diarrhea. Maybe just gas?

can't be appendicitis because your appendix is on the right side of your body!! lolif you were straining/lifting it could be a herniawhatever it is, internal pain is never good. tell your parents or go to a doctorgood luck

this could be a few things. either you could have the start of a stomach ulcer, chronic gastritis or if you have had a cold or flu lately you could have a bit of fluid build up on your left lung. try holding your side firmly when you feel the pain if this helps the pain than it may be a bit of fluid and you may need an antibiotic to help clear it up. if this doesn't help the pain, than try some tums every day take two and see if after a week you feel better. keep track of when it flares, like before or after meals and what types of foods you eat. this area of the body and type of discomfort you are experiencing can be difficult to diagnose. go see your dr.

If you find out , let me know I know three people who have this symptom. My doctor said that is the tail of your stomach. He did an amylase blood test which was negative. If it is elevated they think cancer. The duodenum is the first part of the bowel and common place for an ulcer. Does it hurt when the stomach is empty? might have gastric acids irritating it. We were on a cruise in Alaska and I was walking a lot when it first hit me. Double over pain. Comes and goes. Increased with walking or like pushing a wheel chair. Dr. advised prilosec. It helped. I had no side effects from prilosec but hubby had heart flutters. Lady I know had scans and all kinds of stuff no good answer what causes the pain.
