It sounds like braxton hicks - false labor pains. It's normal...

It could be normal. I think that your ligaments are stretching, but you better tell your doctor about this.

Your little one is probably resting on your sciatic nerve. This happened to me about the same term as you. I went to a chiropractor and she was able to assist. If your unsure, I would seek the help of your OBGYN.

it could be but is it like a constant pain or does it come like every 5 or 10 mins... because if it comes and goes like 10 or 5 mins apart than its probably contractions... call your doctor he or she will want to see you today....

I had that, and was told that it's from not drinking enough water. When you head into labour you will know it..your stomach will harden and you will start to feel like you are having menstrual cramps.. you pains will start coming closer together

I am almost 18 weeks and I have been getting occasional sharp pains in my right ovary since conception. The ovary you ovulate from, gets a cyst on it when you get pregnant and produces vital hormones to maintain the pregnancy, and mine was the right one. I believe this is supposed to go away by 12 or 16 weeks, but maybe they didnt? Sorry I couldnt help more

I had no sharp pains while pregnant. My best friend however had sharp pains, her doctor called round ligament pains. Caused by the weight of the baby and stretching. Call your doctor just to be sure!
