Sharp pain in uterus during sex???swallown?

Recently I have been getting a shapt pain in my uterus during sex. Any reason why this happens? It feels like the surface is somehow swollen even the day after intercourse I feel discomfort.

You might have fibroids, which are growths in your uterus. Pain during sex is not normal, so talk to your doctor. They should check you out and see what is going on.

Are you sure it's your uterus? I ask because I've had sharp pain...generally abdominal, but I saw my DR and it was because I had a cyst on my ovary.The good news is that the cyst went away on it's own after several months-I didn't need surgery; the bad news is that it took several months!You should see your OB/GYM for an exam. Hope you're feeling better soon.
