I am 33 weeks 4 days and last night for the first time I was woken up by extremely sharp stabbing pains in my abdomen. They felt nothing like braxton hicks it honestly felt like someone was scraping the inside of my uterus. They hurt more when I was lying on my side and less on my back, I was almost going to wake up my mom to but then they went away. I talked to her about it and we thought the baby could have just been in an awkward position kicking an organ or something (I also get them in my rib/lung area). I felt fine all day today and then I just got them again, has anyone had this or know what it could be?! My doctors office isn't open today or tomorrow and I really don't want to go to the hospital unless it's serious, tell me what you think I should do, thanks a lot.

With my first she would jab me really hard and it was really painful. If it is down between your legs it could be the baby hitting your cervix. Which is really painful too. Sorry I am not much help. Do you know what a pulled ligament feels like those are a sharp jabbing pain too. Call your Dr office even now and it will have a on call number or line.
