24 weeks with twins and sharp pains in side......?

I am 24 weeks pregnant with twins and lately I have been having these sharp pains in my side. They kinda feel like pulled muscle or something. Does anyone have any ideas on what it may be?? It is in my right side and below my belly....Thanks!!Terri

I would tell your doctor. ASAP if they don't go away. Be careful how quickly you move -- that seems to help me.

If it is not all the time or not constant it could just be your muscles strecting and organs being moved around.

My guess is that it is your ligaments that hold your uterus in place stretching to accomodate your growing uterus. Don't stree too much about it. You have to think of all the organs inside you that have to move out of the way for the babies to grow. If it hurts severly it wouldn't hurt to go to your doctor and check it out. Good luck!
