Default Sharp pain in my right side by ovaries?

I am having some sharp pains on the right side by my ovaries, right in my hip pocket. Has anyone experienced this? What could this be? Any suggestions? Dealt with this from experience? Help plz!!!Just asking because a friend of mines told me that I could be pregnant. WTF?!Also how long can sperm live in the body because my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on Sunday. I started feeling this pain on Monday.

it means your ovulating, yeah it happens to me around the middle of my 29 day cycle

Are you already pregnant? If so, not sure what it could be b/c I'm not pg and haven't ever been..But I get a pain like that on alternating sides occasionally when I'm ovulating, around mid-cycle.. it's called middelschmirz or something weird like that.. lol. I know I totally spelled that wrong.. sorry!

Probably just ovulation, like the other person said. It could be appendicitis though, so if it gets REALLY bad, go to the ER. But if not, don't worry about it.

I get that every single time that I ovulate. Usually, it happens after you ovulate so it's not a good indicator of the actual time of ovulation...but a close marker. It happens because there is no hole in the ovaries to let out an egg, so the egg follicle must break through a thickish membrane and that's the pain that you are feeling.
