I bite down. What might it be? It's a sharp pain going from the right side of jaw to my right ear when I bite. I have been grinding my teeth lately but I also had gotten cut the other day. It wasn't deep, only enough to bleed and I cleaned it out right away but I was still cut by metal. I've been due for a tetanus shot for about a year now. Could it be lockjaw or does it sound like something else?

it doesnt sound like lockjaw. with lockjaw its the muscles tightening up. its most likely from grinding your teeth, my jaw always hurts when i've been tightening it alot. you should go to a pharmacy tho and get your tetanus shot so you don't have to worry in the future.
