How to be faster and more sharp about doing things?

Lots of people say I'm slow about stuff. How do I stay more focused and less slow? Please only give me the answers that actually help

Mental alertness can be gained through a regular sleep routine. If you don't sleep 7-8 hours a night (although these hourse vary based upon age), you are not at your best in terms of how your body and mind respond to things.
