20 year old female. Sharp pains in stomach, sudden, not constant. Once and a while.?

I had really bad pains like that after I had my IUD put in, they were really really sharp, almost like I was being stabbed, but only happened a couple times a day on some days and lasted for about a month. IUD's are placed inside your uterus, so maybe something along those lines? I'm not saying you have one, but maybe your pains are originating from your uterus.

it could be as simple as gas pain or as serious as irritable bowel. keep a record of what you eat before the pain starts the doctors will want to know.there are too many things inside your abdomen that can cause pain. if it becomes more frequent see a dr.
