I cant give you any advice only I can tell you your not alone! I have an appt on thursday and i'm going to be asking my OB the same thing. Just hang in there. It is more than likely pelvic pressure from the baby dropping and being so low.

You could be in the beginning labor process. Yay! It doesn't mean you'll be delivering next week, but sometimes dilation starts pretty early. Next goes the plug and so on. I am 37 weeks and started dilating a week or so ago and just lost my plug yesterday. These are all signs from your body saying, "Get ready chick!" Congrats and good luck!

It could just be everything 'softening up', or pelvic displasia, when your pelvis actually separates at the joints. Very very painful..go see your GP!

You could be dilating, definitely sounds the same as when I was pregnant anyway, I'd contact NHS Direct and ask telephone number: 08454647

i would say that it is the baby getting into position and putting pressure on your nerves and cervix, i had something similar when i was pregnant with my son.
