by my ribs and it goes to my...? The pains goes from my ribs to my back. It has gotten worse. It hurts worse when I take deep breathes, cough, yawn, sneeze. Had them by c-section , one in 1999 and the other in 2003. Had a tubal done in 2003. In 2007 had laperoscopy done and my appendix removed.

Lisa, you are describing a lot and it could be alot. I would first ask how old are you, do you eat a fatty diet, did you just have a baby. I'm asking because of gallbladder disease. It usually radiates like that, from the rib, or under rib to back. If you don't get releif you may need to go to the dr. Other things that come to mind are pleurisy and pneumonia.

See a doctor and ask them to check your appendix with a CT scan. I had the same problem for close to two years. It would flare up and hurt something awful then go away. I had several tests for gallbladder but it was always negative. Pain was under my ribs and around to my back so never suspected my appendix. Then one morning woke up at 4 AM with terrible pain that continued to worsen. When I couldn't take it anymore I went to the emergency room. Turns out my appendix was extremely inflamed and I had to have emergency surgery to have it removed before it burst. Surgeon said he could see there was some sort of seed the size of a cherry pit stuck in my appendix. So, maybe this isn't the same problem as you, but I'd ask the doctor to check with a CT scan to be sure. Your described symptoms sound similar to mine.
