The pain on the lower right quadrant of your torso could mean a myriad of things. Have you been having any nausea, vomiting, fever or chills? Does the pain get worse with movement or if you touch it? If you went to your doctor and the CBC said there was nothing wrong with you, it may not be appendicitis because the CBC studies would have picked up an elevated white blood cell count that is typically present with this condition.

If it is appendicitus then your white count would have been severely elevated. This is the sure way that they know it's appendicitus. The only reason they knew to give me an ultrasound was because of my weird white count but my pain didn't make sense because my appendix had already ruptured so the leg movement test didn't create the pain that I would have had if my appendix was just enflamed. But if the sharp pains continue then head back to the doctor because no pain is good pain.
