Iam 36 weeks pregnant and iam having a bad sharp pain at the bottem of my stomach?

Itz right on my pubic hairline and its a sharp pain. Itz causing for my hips to go numb and then hurt really badly. The pain is intensive and causeing me to cry. Any advice please help this is my first and iam in bad pain.

It aslo hurts 2 walk i have to hold my stomach n it doent help

I KNOW TO GO TO THE DAMN DOCTOR I AM I JUST WANNA KNOW IF N E ONE HAS A CLUE OF TO WHAT IT MIGHT BE SO DON'T CALL ME NO NAMES!!!!!!

you might be going into pre-term labor.you should call your doctor. if the pain worsens go to the e.r

The symptoms of SPD vary from person to person, but almost all women who have it experience substantial pubic pain. Tenderness and pain down low in the front is common, but often this pain feels as if it's inside. The pubic area is generally very tender to the touch.

SPD stands for Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction you should go see your doctor or go to the E.R.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant too and I sometimes get pains low in my belly above the hairline. Mostly it's when I've been walking for awhile. I think it's just the baby dropping lower in your belly getting ready for birth. My doctor asked me if I was feeling any discomfort down there and I told him. He said he thought the baby was probably dropping lower and is going to check me on my next visit to see. Sometimes laying down and taking a rest can help.

I had the same thing with my twins....it's just the baby turning in there and pushing against your pelvic bone....it gets pretty cramped in there by now.....

The pain from walking was from one of my girls has a full head of hair and it bothered me in that same way you described....

Hang in there, the Doctor will tell you if anything else is wrong. I don't blame you for feeling crappy, especially when there are insensitive people being mean on top of your pain ):

Sounds like a condition where the ligaments around the bottom of your belly go to slack causing the pain that you described. i had it with all three of my boys.

you can get belly braces for bad conditions and sometimes end up on crutches. its not harmful to the baby in any way just sicks for the mother.

It can be very painful can it... i sympathise with you and hope it gets better soon.
