...vagina is it normal? hi i am 13 weeks pregnant and have been getting sharp shooting pains in my cervix and vagina, it is not painful and it is every now and again, i have only been getting them for the past week, is this normal or should i see a doctor please help.

i would go and see the doctor just to be on the safe side. but it could be just where the baby is growing and your uterus is expanding. i use to get them too. good luck

depending on when you get the pains is a question. cause I get them to. so do A LOT of other mommys! if your making a movement like getting out of bed and its not slowly, or your streching. your probably feeling round ligament pains. there normal! IF they really hurt for longer than a min and/or you have spotting get to the doc ASAP!!!! but normaly you'll feel aches and pains and little twinges. as long as your taking care of yourself and the baby. and are not spotting or bleeding you should be fine! and congrats on your pregnancy!

there is such a thing as round ligament pain which means at right about 13 weeks your uterus is stretching more and more and causing sharp pains, usually on the right side of your stomach, and usually if you move quickly or roll over to fast in bed. What you have to remember is that cramping or sharp pains is perfectly normal during pregnancy and is a sign that your insides are growing and pushing against your other organs and nerves to make room for the baby.
