If you comb too hard with a sharp comb and and your scalp hurts, will it

eventually cause baldness? A while ago a friend said I should comb my hair. So I got a comb and and combed my hair almost all the time. I got so obsessive that I would start dazing out and I would comb too hard or deep and scratch my scalp. This happened frequently. I quit and now use a wet comb after I shower. Will this eventually cause me to go bald? also, does frequent combing of dry hair cause it to thin and split? what should I do? please help btw I'm healthy a 14 year old male

Baldness is caused by Testosterone saturation of the hair follicles in the scalp. Called Male Pattern Baldness, it is hereditary, and cannot be induced.

You can however, cause dandruff from the extra scrapping of the scalp.

Nobody likes a flaky guy!
