Default Shoulder pain. with movement, sharp and intense?

last night i noticed with small movements lifting my arm side or above cause pain in my shoulder blade.















it is happeneing on my left shoulder and the pain feel like its on the inner aprt of my shoulder blade and underneath it.















Today it feels worse. it hurts when i take a deep breath and with smaller movements now















my arm seems to alsotire very easily















has anyone experienced this or know what it is?















i havnt had any extreme excercise within the last week or so. i have been to busy with school















could it be stress related

My mother had similar pains, and her shoulder ended up freezing (she could only lift it part way up). I forget what the eventual problem was but with some moderate excersize it gradualy got better and now she has no problems with it. You should go to the dr though to be sure. It could be anything from a rotator cuff, to deteriorating cartlage in the joint. Each thing would need to be treated diffrent.

Pain of the shoulder may have many reasons, but the symtoms you are describing might be due to a muscle dysbalance. Something warm on your shoulder, a warm bath or somethinmg relaxing like a massage is helpfull, you might benefit from practicing in the gym under supervision to strength the chest and the shoulder girdle. If this is not helpfull, I would suggest to attend a orthopedian.
