Default SHARP PAINS WHICH ARE ....... hard to explain ....?

im 36wks 4days pregnant and

i keep getting sharp weird pains in my inner thigh (closer to my vagina not my knee) but they don't go away they stay there for a while and i carnt lift my leg properly and its hard to walk it happens every now and then. i now have one again but the pain is in my lower lower back but even tho the pain is in my lower back i carnt move my leg properly what could this be from is it just the baby sitting on a nerve or is it labour starting any advice would be much appreciated but please be honest

but im not having any other pains like in my stomach or anything its just the pains in my legs i dont understand how this could be the start of early labour ..

also the leg pain dosent go away its just sharp when i walk and when it goes away it goes away for a while and their not sharp shooting pains it just stays there..

i still have the lower lower back sharp pain now ..

please wxplain how you think this is labour

thankx

Could be the start of a very early labor. Although you are right in the possiblity of the baby sitting on a nerve. I know this wont help much, but maybe time these pains and if it is consistant get in touch with your doctor. congrats!

It could sciatica, which is caused by baby applying pressure to the sciatic nerve, causing sharp shooting pains (happens especially in the legs). It could also be the ligaments in the upper thighs and vagina loosening up in preparation for the birth (this can cause shooting pains as well, and even some lack of limb control..meaning you go to walk on your leg and your leg just ain't moving). Or, like everyone else it suggested, it could be early labor. I'd call your dr. and discuss this with him/her. I don't want you to not think it's labor and it is just because I suggested other things (I just put them out there in case it isn't labor). Good luck and congrats on the baby =D
