Default Sharp pain in inner thigh-pelvis region and only 18 weeks pregnant?

This is my second child and I had the same issue with my first child, but I can't remember if I had the pain this early on. It's only in my left leg, up in the crease where your leg meets your privates. I don't know if its my pelvis or muscle or what. It's just a sharp pain when I walk or when I'm laying down to roll over. It doesn't do it all the time, just when I'm up walking around for a good part of the day, like it's getting tired. I'm going to discuss it with my doctor on my next appt, just was wondering if anyone else has experienced it and what is causing this?

It's probably your pelvic ligaments stretching.

This happened to me around 18 weeks also. I had to buy a pelvic girdle to help ease the pain.

it doesn't sound like ligament pain. it's your sciatic nerve and your baby is laying on it just right. i'm going through the same thing and as your weight increases, so will the pain. my doctor told me there really isn't anything you can do about it except apply heat to the area. its painful and sucks. but google 'sciatic nerve pain' if you want more information.

I started having that relaxin pain around 25 weeks and my doc said it usually happens earlier with subsequent pregnancies (this is my second). I'm pretty sure that's what you have, sounds exactly like mine. Sorry it's started so early for you. What helps me is if I stay active and exercise and balance between sitting and standing/walking. Also baths help a lot too.

It is ligament stretching or it could be satitca the pressures of the growing baby on certain muscles and nerves
