why am i have sharp pains in my temple?

within the last week i have been getting sharp pains in my temple that goes from my temple to my upper jaw? it hurts REALLY bad but i feel fine and it comes and goes what do you think it is? dont say something unless you know what your talking about..

You may want to check the notch in the bone, of the eyebrow and the cheek of the same side as the symptom. Should you find tenderness or soreness on pressure, you have an inflamed nerve. As that is the exit for the nerves to the face. At least you will have an answer..What to do about it was not included in your question.

It could possibly be two things:1.Migraine headaches. They are always on one side of the face and very painful. You would also be sensitive to sound and light. There are medications for migraines.2.It could be TMJ. You'd have to see a dentist to confirm this. Isn't it about time for that 6-month check-up??! lolGood luck to you, sir.
