On guitar I know my scales major,minor, chromatic etc.















But my friend what me to find out what this meant.















So how do you play a major minor scale up to two flats and sharps?

you didnt word that very well so i dont no but does he mean like learn Aflat minor scales Aflat major scales etc etc...

It simply means all the scales that have no sharps or flats, one sharp or flat or two sharps or flats in either major or minor.















C major, A minor, G major, E minor, F major, Bb major, G minor, D minor and D major, B minor.















None of the aforementioned scales have more than 2 sharps or flats.
