When you are exercising, do you notice if you are breathing or holding your breath.. sometimes when you are working out really hard, one tends to hold their breath.... or perhaps, you may have pushed your self too hard?. When the sharp pain occurred, did you notice it anywhere else?...or where you stressing yourself out, trying to push your self to the limit..?

If the sharp pain comes back when your resting, then you need to follow it up with your doc.

Hope this helps.
