I have sharp pains in my upper stomach mainly on the right side. What is it?

I started feeling this pain around 5 on July 4th so I laid down. It went away eventually so I went to watch fireworks. I've been sitting up on my computer and the pain is back. It's mainly on the right side of my upper stomach. It feels like someone is stabbing my guts with a knife, repeatedly. I don't know what to do but I'm kind of scared. Please help.

It comes and goes.

Could you have suspected appendicitis? I'm not sure but it sounds like it...
