when i jump i get a quick shape pain in the arch of my foot, but only when i am bare foot and sometimes it doesn't occur at all. It is hard to explain but it feels like i have a sting in the arch of my foot that snaps in half when i jump. The pain only lasts a second but it real hurts. What could it be and how can i get rid of it?

Buy some orthotics specifically designed as arch supports or for arch pain (about $15 at any drug store).































If you live near a beach, you can try walking barefoot in loose sand.

sounds like a pinched nerve. Get a doc to look at it (maybe get an X-ray done).















If it is a pinched nerve, it can be rectified relatively easily.
