I'm a big fan of Bernard Cornwell's Richard Sharpe series. I think they are some of the best action adventure writing ever put out. My question is this. I'm getting ready to read Sharpe's Battle followed by Sharpe's Company. I noticed in the summary of Sharpe's Company that Sgt Obadiah Hakeswill makes another apperance as one of Sharpe's enemies. If memory serves me correctly i thought Sharpe killed in India in the book Sharpe's Fortress. It was the battle in the mountain fortress where Col Dodd died and the Sgt died faling into a pit of snakes. Any read these books and know what i am talking about? Also can anyone recommend similiar reading material?
