One note name sharp is half-step up, one note flat is half-step down. C# (c sharp) is Db which is pinky only. D# (d sharp) is Eb which is basically D with right-hand pinky down. You can press nothing down and still play c sharp lol!

C sharp (D flat) is pinky only, but D sharp (E flat) is all of your right hand (including pinky) and your last two fingers and thumb on your left hand.
