I went to the hospital today b/c I've had sharp, severe stabbing pains on my left side and also a very dull lower back pain for 2 days... the side pains was nothing like I've felt before, so I was very concerened... All the dr said was it's I'm ovulating, so it's from that ??? makes NOOO sense, I had my last period on Oct 1st... my periods due any day now, how can I be ovulating? ( normal ovulation is 14 days after the 1st day of the period) Is just me or did the dr not really make sense of her diagnosis Anyone else have this kind of pain?

I see a fertility dr and they monitor my ovulation... so it's not me ovulating late b/c I already did. lol.. but trust me, I'm 26 and have been having my period every month to the t, and never had pains like this before..

honestly, you can have a (+) OPK and not actually ovulate- like everything is ready to go and the egg doesn't drop, and then your body can gear up and try again. (mine does this) Also, if you have any cysts on your ovary it can cause this type of pain. It can be due to hormonal changes as well. A doc can check this on an US. Good luck
