A man 48 yrs old...has bleeding and sharp anal pains on and off 4 a yr...now wont...

...go away what is it? My father who is 48 has been having pains in the rectum and bleeding for about a year on and off. He hasn't told us that until today. now the sharp pains are bad enough for him to bust into tears. What is it?

he has had a hemmaroid for a long time...

Hemmroids? I sort of have that also but it's not a pain but a itch rather up the ying yang and only becomes painful becuase I violently scratch it.

Possible rectal cancer or hemmoroids. The only way to tell is through a proper medical evaluation where he will most likely need to undergo rectal exam. He really needs to see the doctor immediately.
