Lots of divers experience pain when going to depths. It is due to pressure changes.I would hazard to guess that your sinuses are not opening and equilizing with the air pressure. Have your doc check for blocked sinuses. Have you had bad ear / nose / throat / sinus infections in your life?I bet this is the problem. The only time you experience this is from flying, and flying induces pressure changes, and pressure changes effect the sinuses, and the sinuses are located in your head near your eye sockets. (Logic train).Good luck, and have doc prescribe you a sinus opener.Jay

it could be your sinuses. before i fly, i have to take pseudoephedrine aka sudafed (the real stuff...not the "PE" you can get over the counter). you can get it w/out a script, just need to sign over ur 1stborn to the pharmacy to be sure ur not making meth with it. the sudafed opens up your sinuses relieving the pressure. people usually feel it in their ears, but everything is connected to ur sinuses in ur head somehow, which happen to be behind ur eyes. give it a try. otherwise, it's amtrak for you. good luck.
