Default Sharp Chest and back pain, docotr do nothing.?

Since i was 14 i have been getting some chest pain in my left side.I am now 17 and the problem had not gone away.It happens when i am lying down on my back or on my left.If i do i get a sharp pain in my left side and in the middle of my back, pretty sharp pain.If it happen which is most nights i turn onto my right side and it goes away almost instently.I have been to the docotrs about 4 times with it becasue ui have thouh it was spine cancer or lung cancer. They say its not and i have had blood tests and stuff. What do you think it could be?If it was seroius would blood tests show it or would docots notice it?

You could have a bulging disk in your back that is putting pressure on a nerve. It's amazing how something wrong with your back can manifest itself in another part of the body. Perhaps you should try some anti-inflamatories like ibuprofen when the pain occurs. It really sounds like a nerve problem to me.

have any of the doc's ordered a MRI yet, that would show any problems of the spine.
