am 3 months pregnant and for the last week, I have been experiencing a really sharp pain in my lower back. Actually, it feels like my butt bone. When I walk I feel the pain on my left side and when I’m standing all of a sudden I’ll get a sharp pain in the lower back around that same area, as if someone shocked me. If I am sitting or lying down and move too quickly or when I go to stand up I feel the pain, it feels honestly like a cramp in my behind or upper thigh. What kind this is? Could it be the start of hemorrhoids?

sounds like the baby might be on your a nerve.. talk to your dr when u go next time.. goodluck

sounds like you are having some sciatic nerve pain. I have the same issue. The sharp pain is paralyzing at times. This is pretty normal. You are experiencing new pressure as your uterus is growing with your baby. If your uterus is slightly tilted towards your back, it could be much worse (like mine). I wish I had some words of wisdom to help cope with it, but you just have to go with the motions of pregnancy I guess.
