I am 38 wks prego, and baby is engaged says my Dr. but have not been checked for dilation yet until Wednesday this week. I been sitting here and feeling like I have swallowed some needles but instead of them trying to come out from the back they feel like they are trying to exit through the front (my vagina). sorry to sound so graphic and thanks to all in advance.I also have rectal pressure that hurts like hell when walking or sitting.

well i am 31 weeks and i always have a very sharp pain down there like that and what my docs told me after an ultrasound was that the baby was turned and his feet were right there on my cervix and anytime he would kick or anything i would feel that sharp pain....now maybe your baby ias his/her hands or feet in your cervix and is causing that sharp pain for you....and with you being that far along it isnt out of the ordinary to feel lots of pressure down there either!
