It's early, but it could be round ligament pain. There are two major ligaments that support the uterus like rubber bands. As your uterus grows, they stretch and at times can be terribly uncomfortable. Is it worse when you get up from a sitting position? If it occurs when you are moving, I would say it's the ligament stretching. If it's constant, I'd be more concerned and speak with your doctor who may want to do a quantitative hcg blood test to measure the hormone levels in your blood. This can rule out tubal pregnancies if the levels double in a 48 hr period. Don't use a heating pad, but gentle massage and lay on your left side to ease discomfort. Don't take Advil or any prescription pain killers. Ask Dr. about Tylenol for discomfort. Good luck.
